Community Curator: Rev. Mike Baughman

photo credit: robert kentRev. Mike Baughman is our founding pastor and Community Curator. Just as a curator in a museum takes different works of art and puts them together in ways that strengthen the museum’s collection, Mike seeks to do the same work at Union–pulling together different parts of our community to strengthen Dallas. A New Jersey native, Mike attended Duke University and Princeton Theological Seminary but has now well-embedded himself into Dallas culture. Mike has presented at TEDxSMU, Dallas Startup Week and served on the 2014-2015 Mayor’s Star Council. He’s written, edited or contributed to a long list of books / curricula for SparkhouseCokesbury and more. He is always eager to share Union’s story with those interested in Union’s unique community and model. uniondifference@gmail.com

 

Communications Assistant: Nick Marino Jr.

Nick joins the Union team with over 5 years of experience in the Marketing and Communication field. He has a passion for socially conscious brands that focuses on not only business, but doing good as well. Nick is a Dallas native that graduated from the University of North Texas and is heavily involved in the local community. In 2012 Nick was named one of Dallas’s Top 30 Under 30 by the Dallas Observer. Currently Nick is a member of the Mayor’s Star Council and has the privilege of speaking around the country about social consumerism, marketing, branding and more.  uniondallascommunications@gmail.com

On the front lines of Union’s work stand ten amazing baristas whoa re more than just drink specialists and coffee enthusiasts. They develop the art of getting to know a customer’s story as well as his or her order. They offer care for those in need and community for anyone who comes into our doors.
